Bin 26 Enoteca

I’m sorry I have been so MIA from the blog this week. It is crazy town here at the office. Luckily I think Thursday and Friday will start to ease up and then it will be all downhill until the holidays. I’m linking up with Jen over at Peas and Crayons to bring you a picture blog of my dinner date with the girls last night.

We went to Bin 26 Enoteca for a date night and it started off by me getting lost getting there. It is in the Beacon Hill section of Boston, which is so beautiful with the small brick streets and little boutique shops. I parked a little less than a half a mile away and walked there in the beautiful crisp night. The girls were already there when I got there and had already ordered some wine so we got down to the business of picking out appetizers.

Cheese plate with walnuts, figs, honey and balsamic fig jam
Prosciutto with mozzarella, arugula and balsamic fig jam on a crostini

Per usual I went to town on the cheese and meatballs but didn’t touch the prosciutto. All delicious but I wish the cheese plate had a little more funk to it.

Then we ordered round one of dinners. Yes round one, don’t judge! They were small plates and we wanted to try multiple things.

Spinach pasta with duck and mushrooms for the girls
Potato gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce in a Parmesan bowl for me

Round two of dinners came out and I was already feeling a little full but you have to just press on sometimes.

Black truffle ravioli for the girls
Scallops and a pea risotto for me

Can you believe I didn’t get the black truffle ravioli? I can’t either, I thought it sounded way too heavy and when it came out it looked way too heavy so I’m glad with my choices.

I really liked Bin 26, small area that wasn’t too loud and the service was outstanding. The food was good, I have had better in other restaurants, like Scampo right down the street, but I was satisfied and left full.

Happy hump day friends!
