Good morning my friends! While I sit here and sip my tea, let’s recap what I have been making and eating these last few days. I’m linking up with Jen over at Peas and Crayons to bring you my What I Ate Wednesday.
First and foremost I love starting my day with a green smoothie right now.
I feel good after I have it, like I just infused my body with tons of vitamins.
My recipe as you can see from above is so easy. Just throw all those ingredients in the blender and blend. It’s normally done in less than three minutes and I drink it while I’m getting ready. Starting the day off on the right foot and giving the metabolism a great jump start.
Above are the donuts that I promised I would give you the recipe. The recipe is here. I didn’t take the time to roll them out and make actual donuts, I just made little munchkins. I am going to try baking them next time, to make them healthier and to also cut down on my apartment smelling for three days after!
Next up, Chinese food last Friday for date night. The boyfriend and I found a place near us called All Seasons Table. It was so good, I can’t wait to go back. Normally we get take out and it is the typical greasy food, but this time the boyfriend put a little effort into finding a place for us (which I wasn’t willing to do) and it really paid off. The food isn’t greasy, the stuff is very fresh and it is an actual restaurant. The place is large and it was packed, a great sign that they serve fantastic food. We didn’t get dessert there though, the boyfriend and I were stuffed so we went home. On the way he wanted to stop and get some apple juice so we swung into a small mart.
So those are my eats and a few recipes.
