March Fitness Goals

I was going to update you guys on the awesome dinner that I had the other night with WHO, Erin and their husbands but I got called “that girl” when I took a picture with a flash so I turned the flash off. All pictures look like this:photo 4

No amount of lightening them up works either so looks like that idea is out of the window.

Apparently they didn’t know that though! So instead I’ll talk about my goals for March as well as recap February and let you guys in on April. If you remember my goals for February were to get 10,000 steps a day in 80% of the month. I’m happy to report that I managed to hit that goal with only missing 5 days out of the 28. So in March I decided that I was going to jump on Fitfluentials challenge and run 100 miles. Well with me skiing four days out of the month and then getting sick last week that goal isn’t going to be attained. 3-24-2014 9-35-12 PMI’m ok with that though. I let myself rest when I was sick and I let life happen and allowed myself to indulge in the last of the winter’s ski season. Coming into April I want to make a stretch goal but I want to do something that is also attainable and fun. So I decided that I was going to do some sort of exercise every day for the month, yet not let myself repeat the same thing in a three day period. Follow me?

So if I walk on Sunday then I have to wait three days (until Wednesday) to walk again. I need to really switch it up so I don’t get bored, I feel like besides my Wednesday Body Pump class I haven’t been excited to workout. I’m hoping to try Barre class as well as do some more body pump.

Lastly I will be doing the Advocare 24 Day Challenge again starting on the 7th. So that will give me the added energy and motivation to crush April!

What is your favorite workout or exercise to do? Mine is distance running outside.
