Hey guys!! It’s time for another Treat Yourself Tuesday, like I’ve stated before, if you want to learn about TYT then head on over to Becky’s blog and check it out because she does such a better job at explaining the true meaning behind it.
I think the biggest thing I am treating myself to this week is this blog, last week I got so upset because I couldn’t customize something on my blog. I was sick of the comment section and I hated that I had to learn coding to do things to make it more unique. So I took a quick poll of what my favorite bloggers were using and they all seemed to be using wordpress. I quickly jumped ship. As you can tell the blog is still in transformation, I have a laundry list of things I want to add yet just don’t know how, but I know it will get there!
Another really large thing I treated myself to this weekend was a seasons pass at Attitash for next year. This year the boyfriend and I were up there so many times that it would have been cheaper for me to purchase this. I know we held back a lot of the days as well because we just didn’t want to spend as much money. Luckily we can use next years season pass now, so I am going to get even more use out of it! I would have posted a picture but the fools at the counter had me look down into the camera. LOOK DOWN! I look like I have spent my whole life eating 10 cheeseburgers a day. Not pleased.
New running shoes!! I spent a good hour in New Balance, Reebok, Adidas and then Nike trying to find the perfect cushion shoe. I have been really racking in the distance and around mile 4.5 my big toes start to hurt. I knew it was because I just went for a performance shoe and not a distance one so I took the time to really feel them all out. Adidas has a fantastic new shoes called the Boost, which I would have bought but the ones at the store had too high of an arch which I knew would be a problem.
Lastly some new pants. I read on PBfingers.com that Julie actually wears workout pants as leggings….GENIUS! These are regular Gap leggings that I always find at the outlet stores. They are less than $20 most times because there are always sales and they look so much better than regular leggings. Highly recommend going this route if you are a leggings fan. Also so much more comfortable and breathable!
What a week huh! I hope everyone out there is doing something nice for yourself.
Have you ever changed the image of your blog completely? Were you like me and wanted it to be fixed right away and not over time? Obviously yes I’m changing the image of my blog and my patience level for it is getting better. Yesterday I wanted my site to be complete and I know now that I just have to learn how to do things now completely different from what I was doing before. Patience child, patience.
