Mounds Bar Yogurt

I should name this post who wants to see something gross because honestly the look of this stuff is pretty awful. That being said don’t let the look fool you as this yogurt is possibly one of the best ones I have ever made. If you love chocolate and coconut as much as I do then I highly suggest you make this for yourself ASAP. 
Chocolate and coconut are perhaps my favorite combination, so much so that I’ll eat a whole heart shape box of chocolates just to get that coconut one. Thank god they have the cheat sheets on them now so I know what I’m getting! So when my cleanse was over and I was able to add back some dairy into my life I knew that greek yogurt was going to be one of the first things. It is so versatile and can be used in almost all dishes, normally I use it as a sour cream type condiment but the other day while I was in target I picked up a package of unsweetened coconut and an idea popped into my head. “I have to have a Mounds Bar type recipe”. 
This is a place of honesty so I’ll honestly admit to you that I was going to buy a chocolate cake mix and make some microwave mug cakes, but then that little voice in the back of my head screamed “don’t #$%^ this up Ashley, you’ve come so far”. So I set out to concoct something else. First try I nailed it too, I’m so please with the way this yogurt came out that I’ve already ate it multiple times. It’s perfect for a sweet breakfast or even for a healthy dessert, and remains clean and true to my new way of eating. 
Mounds Bar Yogurt
Serves 1
  • 1/2 Cup of Greek Yogurt
  • 1 TB of Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
  • 1 TB of Unsweetened Coco Powder
  • 2 Tsp of Honey

Simply put all things in a dish and combine. If you like things a little more sweet then up the honey a little, or if you want to save calories then use your favorite no calorie sweetener. This is it folks, you have your yummy and super-filling dish in zero time flat and can feel good about eating it! 
Side note: I know there are a lot of people out there who still are strong Splenda fans but I really try to steer clear of all manmade sweeteners, it adds a few more calories to my diet but makes me feel comfortable about my choices. (yes if you are an Advocare fan, I still do have a Spark every now and then. Just not everyday)
