When I was getting ready to go to the memorial service on Saturday I couldn’t find my makeup bag. I then got a sinking feeling that I had left it at the gym on Friday morning. I was hoping that when I showed up this morning it would be in the lost and found but unfortunately it was gone. I was really bummed because my two watches this one and another was also in the bag.
I got to work and had two green apples or breakfast. I ate like crap all weekend and needed to get my body back into healthy eating. I also packed some leftovers which included chicken from here and mashed potatoes from here. I also threw some spinach in and got a side salad.
After work I went to Ulta and replaced my makeup that was lost. The ladies were so nice and gave me a ton of free samples when they found out what happen. I only replaced the basics which I laid out below.
The first is the eye shadow pallet I always use. I normally only use three or four colors daily but it is nice to have all the options.
Next is a new mascara which is nice but I was really bummed because I had just gotten the Fresh mascara and loved it.
Apparently the other one is all natural though and looked very natural so I’ll give it a shot.
I needed a new brush and eye pencil sharpener since those were in the bag as well.
Then I got some new eye liner that actually might be better than the last one as it has a bit if shimmer in it.
I also saw some lip balm at checkout and knew that both the boyfriend and I would love it. I was right.
Since I got home a little later I went right into the kitchen to start dinner. I made some chicken parm without using the deep fryer and it came out pretty well. I also paired it with the garlic bread from last night and then an avocado and tomato salad.
- 3 chicken thighs or breast
- 2 TB of olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of panko bread crumbs
- 1 Tb of parsley
- 1 tsp of basil
- 1/8 tsp of oregano
- 1 jar of pasta sauce
- 1 package of buitoni pasta
Preheat oven to 350. Heat over medium heat the olive oil in large cast iron skillet. While those are heating scramble the egg on one plate and mix the panko, parsley, basil and oregano on another. Dip the chicken in the egg and then cover the chicken with bread crumbs. After all three are done place them in the pan and turn the heat up a little. Cook for 4 minutes on each side then remove from heat and cover with sauce. Place in oven for 30 minutes. When there is about 15 minutes left start water for pasta to boil and then for the last 3 minutes cook the pasta. Place 1/3 of the cooked pasta on a plate and cover with a piece of chicken and some sauce. Serve with vegetables of your choice and some fresh grated cheese.
What makeup can you not live without?
Mascara is the must, then done neutral eye shadows and some brown eye liner.
